“We had a scene where our lead character walks past a professional trumpet player in a backstage environment and we needed a trumpet track, but it had to be something that signaled to the audience that we were in a performers’ warm-up area. Of course, APM Music had the perfect, simple solo trumpet track that was not even a song, but a quality recording of pro-level warm-up scales. Once placed into the scene it felt organic and when Guillermo used it in an early cut of the film I knew it would stick all the way to the final film."
